Pre-Production (storyboarding): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UWnXZa92Oc&feature=SeriesPlayList&p=3DAF98DD93ACCAAC
This video has explained storyboards in more depth and helped me realise how important one is to ensure that filming is done on the day. By drawing a storyboard and giving a copy to everyone involved in our film it will make sure that on the day everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing and how we do it. It will also make editing the shots a faster and easier experience.
Lighting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6yRQnFD-_8
Lighting is a part of the production processes which I didn't really understand too well, so watched this video which explains the different lighting techniques and what effect they give. This has made me realise how important light is needed for a shot and how it can affect the way the audience perceives the film. Lighting is defiantly a core reason to how we perceive a shot/character and I will defiantly make sure that we remember this when I film our main task.

This video explains how to make your story more effective through camera angles, actors and setting selection. From this I have learnt more about how to work with the camera and the way in which angles affect the drama of the shot. It will help us make more fluent shots and interesting angles allowing us to engage an audience more effectively.
Editing Techniques: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPK65xG3jFA
We watched this video in lesson and it is about how the pace of editing can affect the outcome of the scene. It has helped me realise the importance of editing and how a slowly paced shot with not many camera angles can make a scene much more calm/boring. However adding more angles in at a faster pace it would make the scene more intense and thrilling, but for different genres you would need different paces. It has also helped me realise how sound can make a big difference to shot depth as well.
also how choice of music can make the scene seem completely different if not done correctly.
